After working with the farm to raise a new barn designed by Payette Architects, we were excited to continue the journey and help them build their new award winning farmstand. This building is one of the first of its kind in Massachusetts as it utilizes carbon sequestering wood solutions throughout its structure. Starting with the custom crafter timber frame core, it was then clad in Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) panels to further stiffen and sheath the building. After that wood fiber insulation was used to create a comfortable and environmentally friendly space. It was truly an honor to get to work on such a special building for Lands Sake Farm.
